SINGLETON HERITAGE WALK

The Heritage Walk lets you explore a collection of proud historic buildings that stand to tell the tale of the rich heritage the Singleton region has to offer with a gentle stroll along George Street will take you past the State Heritage Listed Ewbank and the Post Office.

Royal Australian Infantry Corps Museum

Nearby is the Royal Australian Infantry Corps Museum which is housed in a purpose opened in 2012.

Popular with tourists the area has a delightful mis of National Parks and Nature Reserves offering 4WD adventures and bushwalking and delicious food and wine available.

Lake St Clair

Located a pleasant 30-minute drive north of Singleton, Lake St Clair provides an attractive setting for water based activities, day tripping and back to basics camping facilities.

Singleton Sundial

The Singleton sundial is the largest sundial in the Southern Hemisphere and is one of the  largest sundials in the world, and weighs a staggering 30 tonnes! Built from original convict hewn stone, sourced locally from Singleton from the early street construction, the sundial has been reinforced with 2.5km of steel to support the structure and to prevent any corrosion damage in the future. The gnomon points to the South and is parallel to the earth’s axis of rotation.
